friday, while watching these two dispel an interminable amount of energy, i was schooled by Alec on "How to Be a Person."
Lesson One: "You have to have a happy face. Smile real big!"
Lesson Two: "You have to be nice."
Lesson Three: "You have to sleep with a stuffed animal at night."
Lesson Four: "You have to be loving."
Ok. this kid is 4. and he is smarter than most everyone else on earth. what if we lived by these four "lessons?" i mean seriously. this world could use more smiles. more niceness. more love. and there's nothing wrong with holding on to that teddy bear, to the innocent bliss of childhood, whether you're 4 or 20 or 62.
